Familiarise yourself with the footage required to get the best from this service. We have shown you the "Gold Standard" of our requirements but fully understand that you may not be able to provide everything that we have in our videos.
The minimum requirements are:
- Walking in a straight line away and towards the camera (Videographer to stand directly behind the horse)
- Trotting in a straight line away and towards the camera (Videographer to stand directly behind the horse)
- Either lungeing footage of walk, trot and canter on BOTH reins on a soft surface OR
- Ridden walk, trot and canter on BOTH reins - follow the advice on the “How to” video
Photos of the horse as advised in the “How to” video are a bonus but not essential, Lungeing on a HARD surface is very advantageous but some vendors may be reluctant to allow this despite the fact that this is a requirement in all Pre Purchase Examinations PPE's
The quality of the photos and videos are of paramount importance to allow me assess the horse/pony fairly and accurately. Follow the instructions on the "How to" video closely and if you have any concerns or can only provide limited footage, please email me on [email protected] to discuss.
Please note:
This assessment is NOT a replacement for a PPE nor is it a Guarantee that the horse/pony will pass a PPE (ie heart, eyes, flexions etc)
We ALWAYS recommend a PPE is performed prior to purchase of any horse/ pony
If you submit a video that is of poor quality, you will receive a code to submit a second video without incurring a fee. Payments are NON-REFUNDABLE if you submit two videos of poor quality in succession.
